Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information
we collect about you to process your orders & keep you up to date with
any new products & special promotions. We do not sell, trade or rent
your personal information to others. We follow strict security procedures
in the storage & disclosure of information that you have given us. Our
security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity
before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.
ORDERS:
Delivery Promise
Please note that orders
can take from 48 hours to 6 Months or longer for delivery depending
on stock levels and function date. Goods will arrive in good time before
your given function date. Should you require it before then, please
notify us within 7 days of your order. We will reply to you with an
expected delivery date according to our suppliers (not including
short notice orders see below). If an item is unavailable
for any reason you will then be notified of the revised dispatch date.
You will be contacted to discuss whether a full refund is necessary
or a replacement item is acceptable. We choose our suppliers very carefully
but can not be held responsible for late deliveries from them or
misinformation. In the case of force majeure we can not be held
accountable.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required before
orders can be accepted. Balances are due on delivery/cancellation of your
orders.
Supply of Goods
Due to the nature of our product
range we are unable to guarantee the availability of products when placing
your order. On the rare occasion that an item is no longer available, then
you will be notified & given the opportunity to choose an alternative
item or withdraw your order.
Pricing
The price you pay is the price
agreed at the time you placed your order. If an error in pricing occurs,
we will inform you as soon as possible (no longer than 10 days) & give
you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or withdraw
it.
Returns/Exchange
On the very rare occasion that
goods are found to be defective and only if they are returned in their original
condition. We will offer an exchange or a full refund for the price you
paid for the item. Refunds/Exchange will only be given after the returned
item has been received & inspected. This does not affect
your statutory rights. For health & safety reasons no returns
are accepted for any underwear that has been purchased.
Storage
In most cases we will store goods
free of charge for a period of one year providing there is no payment outstanding.
This is at your own risk. Our storage facility is small so we will contact
you should the need arise for you to collect your purchase.
Cleaning
After your wedding. In most cases your garment
will clean beautifully. Be assured we will use our expertise over 20 years
to clean your garment however we cannot guarantee our service. Especially
if manufacturers do not give proper cleaning instructions. We promise however
to give best results achieved. You use our service at your own risk.
Bespoke Garments:
We offer a
unique bespoke
service. Our customers may choose to have a garment made to their own specifications.
If we feel this is a workable design we will order for you a customized
garment. Our sizes are by our sample garments and our chart, there are 2(5cm)
between each size, we will calculate your size from the sample garment you
try on, if a garment is 2(5cm) too big or small then the next size up or
down will be ordered etc. you may have a different size bodice to skirt
also longer or shorter length. We do not take your body measurements, these
garments are not made to measure and may need slight alterations once the
style and size have been agreed then manufactured. This system has been
proved extremely successful over the years (23) as there is only a need
to be accurate to every 2(5cm), however we cannot be held responsible for
client weight/size fluctuation.
Bespoke Garment delivery times
Normal delivery time is 20 - 28 weeks.
However if a longer lead time is given to us we may feel it appropriate
to ask for later delivery from our suppliers as storage of garments for
a longer length of time may be felt risky.
Short notice bespoke orders
We will not take an order if
enough lead time is not thought possible. When placing an order with a
shorter lead time than normally required by our suppliers, then a
special order charge may be required. Your order will arrive in time for
your function but an expected delivery date is not normally possible as
(short notice) orders
are usually processed in between the processing of normal lead time orders.

Cancellations
Please consider Wedding insurance.
Balances are due upon cancellation. Goods/orders cannot be cancelled
once the order is placed with our suppliers or taken out of stock. Cancellations
may only be considered if they are in writing to:

Prom Dress Register Every effort will be made to insure that only one
garment of a particular style and colour will be sold for each prom. However
we cannot guarantee this although we promise to make every effort. We use
the information customers give us which we cannot be held responsible for
or errors made. Prom orders are 12 - 16 week delivery. Less than this time
Short Notice Order rules apply.
Alterations
Should alterations be required we will supply
a list
of local
dressmakers. All dressmakers work independently from House of Couture. They
will require payment for their services. Please arrange a fitting date after
delivery or approximately 4 weeks prior to your function should your
garment arrive before this.

Penalty Charge
Most customers pay on time. This helps us to keep
our prices to a minimum. To protect our customers we are entitled to
add interest and/or charges to any debt that is overdue, or charge the debtor
such charges as incurred by our third party collection agent.
