CREDIT CRUNCH Q&A
Q: We have been asked “How is the present
financial situation or Credit Crunch affecting the wedding dress
industry”.
A:
Wedding dress designer Sue Goodchild from House of Couture has said “On
the whole brides appear to be undeterred from having the big day they
have dreamed of since they were a little girl. Those that have already
booked mostly have confided that they are worried about the situation
but they are keeping their fingers crossed that all will be well for the
future”
Q: We
have also been asked if we have any plans to help our brides for the
future.?
A: Sue
also replied. “We aim to give the best service possible; with this
in mind we have produced our own Credit Crunch range called “Bride on a
budget” by Femme Couture. We also are running sale days with
sample gown from £50 and Designer stock items at half price or less.
These brides will receive the same service for their purchase as all
other brides we serve.
Q: Will you be able to maintain your
standards?
A: We
are looking at all kinds of ways to help in the future whilst
maintaining our high standard of service” We are also sourcing new
suppliers for accessories etc. news of which will be released on our
website on our all new special offers page. We now have a no nonsense
approach with our suppliers to enable us to make sure the service for
our brides is as stress free as possible.
Q: Do you hire dresses to lessen the expense
for your customers?
A: We have a number of brides that wish to
hire the Top Designer Gowns who in the past have not be able to for many
reasons - one being the designers stipulate we should not offer this
hire service on their gowns. We have decided our brides are more
important. We have decided to offer for hire any stock Designer Gown we
have at less than HALF PRICE!
