USER AGREEMENT
The following User Agreement ("Agreement")
governs the use of the House of Couture ("Company"
and "Vendor") site ("Site"). Please
read the rules contained in this Agreement. You can access
this agreement at various points throughout the Site. Your
use of the Site will constitute your agreement to comply
with the rules stated here in. If you cannot agree with
these rules, please do not continue using the Site. House
of Couture and House of Couture contractors ("Service
Provider") (jointly referred to as "We")
expressly reserve the right to revise the rules contained
in this Agreement. You are encouraged to periodically visit
this page to review the rules. Notice of revisions to this
agreement will be announced on this page. Continued access
of the Site will constitute your acceptance of the changes
or revisions to the Agreement.
INTERNET ORDERS
CANCELLATIONS &
RETURNS
At House of Couture, we want you to be satisfied
every time you shop with us. Occasionally however, we know
that you may want to return items. To help you with this
process please see our returns policy below.
The United
Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations stipulate that as
a consumer, you have the right to cancel the contract for
the purchase of an item within seven working days of delivery.
Once despatched to you, we accept the return of all returnable
items only if they are unworn, are in their original condition
and in a resalable condition i.e. clean, intact, with hangers
and all tags still attached by their original means, and
in the original packaging in which it was sent. Garments
that have deodorant stains or odours will not be accepted.
If you return the goods within 7 days, we will issue a full
refund for the price that you paid for the item, delivery
charges for the item will not be reimbursed. Items received
after this time will be refused and sent back to you. You
are responsible for the safe return of products to us, including
the cost of doing so. It is recommended that you insure
your return parcel in case of loss or damage. Please note:
We will not accept any refund requests on multiple orders.
To cancel your purchase contract please E-Mail shop@houseofcouture.co.uk,
the reply will fully explain the returns procedure.
If you have decided to return your products to House of
Couture we will refund you within 30 days of cancellation,
provided that the terms of this agreement have been met.
We will endeavour to send you an e-mail to let you know
when we have processed your return.
This section has
been introduced to incorporate the new European Directive
on distance selling which is incorporated into UK law by
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
DAMAGES
We recommend you inspect your package
for damage before accepting it. If your package appears
to have incurred damage in shipping you would be advised
not to accept the parcel. If you have already received the
package and then notice the damage, make sure that you keep
the packaging and contact us within 72 hours to report the
damage and request a returns authorisation number.
Please
check quantity of pieces delivered against the carrier's
paperwork and note shortages against the carrier's documentation.
RISK
As soon as we have delivered the
products to your door you, the customer, are responsible
for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the
order and goods will not be left without a signature. From
the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or
damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.
ITEM DESCRIPTION
We have made every effort to
ensure that the information contained within this website
is as accurate as possible. Please note that colours displayed
will depend upon the settings of your computer and monitor
and it is therefore impossible to guarantee that the colour
your monitor displays will accurately represent the colour
of the product ordered. Similarly, sizes between manufacturers
may vary. Where possible a size chart is provided as a guide
only. This chart shows the standard measurements for British
ladies dress sizes.
ITEM AVAILABILITY
All products and services are subject to availability and
may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods
for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will
refund any money already paid for them.
